Tuukka Rask got angry – Fiery greetings to the Swedish superstar: “I would have hit him in the face with my shield”
At the Milano-Cortina Olympics, HBO Max expert Tuukka Rask had some strong words about Sweden’s star defender Rasmus Dahlin regarding his behavior in the match against the Lions played on Friday.
Rask, known for his fiery playing style during his goaltending career, would have given Dahlin a proper lesson.
– I yelled something about a softie… as Dahlin was spinning around. If I were in goal, I would have hit him in the face with my glove several times, Rask laughed in the studio during the second intermission.
Emotions boiled over several times at the end of the second period of the match between the Lions and Tre Kronor. A total of six two-minute penalties were handed out for incidents in the last seconds of the period.
Half of the Finnish defense was sent to the box, as Miro Heiskanen, Rasmus Ristolainen, and Niko Mikkola each received two-minute penalties.
Ultimately, the Lions washed away their disappointment after the opening game loss to Slovakia and defeated Tre Kronor with a score of 4-1. Finland’s next match is already on Saturday, when they will face the host nation Italy, led by Jukka Jalonen.
