Treidi paid off: Olli Määttä’s strong performance continues in the NHL – this is how the season’s opening goal was scored

Finnish defender Olli Määttä succeeded in scoring in the NHL as his team, the Calgary Flames, defeated the Los Angeles Kings after a shootout with a score of 3-2.
This was Määttä’s first goal of the season. He equalized the game to 1-1 in the second period.
Määttä was traded to Calgary from the Utah Mammoth at the beginning of March. Earlier in the season, he played only 22 games in Utah with stats of 0+1. After moving to Calgary, he has found strong form, recording 1+5 points in ten games.
