The star forward Ryan Lasch, 38, who represented Pelicans in the league for the last two seasons, is moving to a truly surprising destination.

According to the Swedish Hockeynews website, the American talent, who has been on the radar of several SHL teams, is set to continue his career with Vålerenga, which plays in the Norwegian league.

Negotiations are said to have progressed significantly, and it is now just a matter of finalizing the details before the contract is confirmed. According to one source, the contract has already been signed and the team was informed about it on Monday.

Lasch was among the top players in the league last season. The small-sized forward scored impressive stats of 13+39=52 in 54 regular season games, making him the most effective scorer for Pelicans.
