Erik Haula may change teams before the NHL trade deadline. The insider reporter Elliotte Friedman, who commented on the matter during the NHL on TNT broadcast, stated that the Nashville Predators are ready to make a deal for the Finnish veteran.
– I believe Nashville is ready to trade him, Friedman said during the broadcast.
Haula, 34, is in the final year of his contract. The player from Pori earns a salary of 3.1 million dollars per year.
This season, the center has played 61 games and recorded 9+21=30 points. He also performed well in the Milano–Cortina Olympics, where he scored 3+3 points in six games, which placed him tied for second in the internal scoring race for the Lions.
