Top news for Leijonat forward: NHL debut
Last spring’s World Championships representative Lenni Hämeenaho will make his NHL debut on Tuesday night.
The 21-year-old forward, who has played 33 games in the AHL this season with a score of 9+12=21, will debut in a New Jersey Devils jersey in an away game against the Calgary Flames.
Hämeenaho is the Devils’ 2nd round pick from 2023. The young player had an impressive season last year with the Ässät Liiga team, where the winger scored 51 points (20+31) in 58 regular season games.
In his NHL debut, Hämeenaho will play on the Devils’ fourth line alongside Arseni Gritsjukin and Cody Glass.
