Florida Panthers’ Brady and Matthew Tkachuk were in incredible form during the NHL round played on Wednesday night Finnish time.

The Tkachuk brothers combined for a total of nine points as Florida defeated the Columbus Blue Jackets on the road with a score of 7–3.

Brady Tkachuk emerged as the game’s top scorer with a hat trick. Additionally, he was credited with one assist. Matthew Tkachuk, on the other hand, excelled as a playmaker, collecting as many as five assists.

The brothers’ teamwork also produced a historic achievement. Brady scored three consecutive goals in the second period in just eight minutes and three seconds. Matthew recorded an assist on each of his brother’s goals.

In NHL history, there had never been a situation where a player assisted all three of his brother’s goals in a natural hat trick. A natural hat trick occurs when the same player scores three consecutive goals without any other players scoring in between.

Brady, who had quietly settled into his new team, also opened his scoring account for the season. He had gone scoreless in his first six games, collecting only one assist. Matthew, on the other hand, increased his early-season point total to 10 with a tally of 3+7 in seven games.

Florida’s offense had contributors beyond the brothers as well. Sam Reinhart recorded 2+1 and Carter Verhaeghe scored two goals. Defenseman Seth Jones, meanwhile, assisted on four goals.

The victory ended the Panthers’ two-game losing streak.
