The opening opponent of the Lions at the Olympics Slovakia: team revealed
Slovakia, Finland’s opponent in the Olympic Games, has announced its team for the upcoming tournament.
The group includes seven NHL players, with the most notable being Juraj Slafkovsky and Simon Nemec, who were drafted first and second in the 2022 draft.
Slovakia will defend its Olympic bronze from the 2022 Beijing Games in the upcoming tournament. It will compete in the same group as Finland, Italy, and Sweden.
