The master striker of the Jokers is leaving – surprising new address!

Forward Ville Vainikainen continues his career abroad. The 32-year-old from Kuopio is moving to the team Chamonix, which plays in the top league in France.
Vainikainen was a key part of the Jokers’ Mestis team, which won the league championship in two consecutive seasons.
In the Jokerit jersey, he played a total of 77 regular season games with stats of 15+16=31. In the playoffs, he played 25 games and scored three goals.
Before his move to Helsinki, he had a long career in the Liiga, spanning a total of ten seasons. In the Liiga, he mainly represented SaiPa and briefly KooKoo.
In total, he accumulated 403 games in the Liiga, where he scored 67 points (35 goals and 32 assists).
