The Lions strike against Sweden in the EHT – Aleksander Barkov returns to the lineup
The Lions play their last match before the World Championships on Sunday, facing the host team Sweden in the final game of the Beijer Hockey Games.
The NHL stars who were part of Finland’s lineup in Saturday’s game against the Czech Republic are returning to the roster. Aleksander Barkov will once again lead Finland’s top line. Also included are Anton Lundell, Olli Määttä, and Justus Annunen, who will start the game in goal for the Lions.
The match, starting at 5 PM, can be watched on the TV5 channel and the HBO Max streaming service.
So far, the Lions’ tournament has included an overtime loss to the Swiss national ice hockey team and a victory over the Czech national ice hockey team. Sweden, on the other hand, lost to the Czech Republic but defeated Switzerland.
