The league’s long-time star forward Ryan Lasch may be returning to Finland.

According to Urheilucast, the top-performing JYP has set its sights on the skilled American veteran. Lasch moved to the Norwegian Vålerenga for this season after representing the Lahti Pelicans for two seasons.

– JYP is reportedly pursuing star forward Lasch, according to Urheilucast. The 38-year-old American player is currently playing in Norway, and UC’s information suggests that they want to part ways with him. Quiet negotiations towards Finland have already begun, claims Urheilucast’s Esko Seppänen in his Friday episode.

– Lasch earns 140,000 euros net in Norway. JYP senses momentum and community involvement, and for this reason, it is natural that they are exploring options regarding Lasch, Seppänen continues.

JYP, currently third in the league, has had a sensational start to the season with player Santeri Huovila sidelined due to injury for approximately 11 more weeks, so acquiring Lasch would be beneficial for the Jyväskylä team. The veteran forward played 54 regular-season games in the league last season, with stats of 13+39=52.
