The EHT tournament of the Lions culminates against Sweden – a big surprise in the lineup!
The Lions face Sweden in the final match of the Finland EHT tournament on Sunday.
On Saturday, Emil Larmi, who played a top game against the Czech Republic, will continue as Finland’s goalie in the Father’s Day final match. However, Leevi Tukiainen, who opened the scoring for the Lions with a stunning breakaway goal against the Czech Republic, has surprisingly dropped out of the playing lineup.
Sweden has won both of its matches in the tournament. Tre Kronor humbled Switzerland in Saturday’s day game, securing an 8-3 crushing victory.
Tickets for the match starting at 5 PM at the Nokia Arena were nearly sold out by Sunday morning, with only a few individual seats available.
The match can be watched on TV5 and via HBO Max’s streaming service.
