Tappara’s master forward: new club!
Familiar from the league, Nick Baptiste continues his career in the French top league. The 30-year-old Canadian forward, who previously represented Tappara and Ilves, has signed a contract with Rouen.
Last season, Baptiste played in two different leagues. He started the season in the Slovakian top league, where he recorded 2+8 points in 23 games. For the latter part of the season, the forward moved to Düsseldorf, which played in the German DEL2 league, and scored four goals in seven games.
In the league, Baptiste played a total of 102 regular season games for Tappara and Ilves. He scored 35 goals in those games. The Canadian won the league championship with Tappara in the spring of 2024.
After the 2023–24 season, Baptiste moved to KHL club Vityaz. However, his stint with the club was short, as he managed to play 11 games before his career continued again in other European leagues.
