Surprise selection: Kasimir Kaskisuo’s new team has been revealed
The new team of the goalkeeper Kasimir Kaskisuo, who has had an extensive career in North America, is now known.
Kaskisuo hinted on his TikTok account on Sunday that he has signed with a new team. However, the 32-year-old goalkeeper, who is very popular on social media and YouTube, did not reveal the name of the new team at that time.
On Monday, it was revealed that Kaskisuo is moving to the Utah Grizzlies, who play in the ECHL. The contract is visible on the ECHL website.
The transfer can be considered a surprise, as Kaskisuo mentioned earlier in the fall that he was looking for a team in Europe. The Jokerit product has been without a team this season.
Kaskisuo has played ten seasons in North America during his career. He also has two NHL games under his belt. He played the previous two seasons in the ECHL.
Kaskisuo played for two seasons in Sweden between his years in North America. He represented Leksands IF during the 2021-23 seasons.
