Surprise announcement on TikTok from a Finnish player who played in the NHL: new team!
Finnish goalkeeper Kasimir Kaskisuo, who has had an extensive career in North America, has found a new address.
Kaskisuo, who is very popular on social media and YouTube, announced on TikTok on Sunday that he has signed with a new team. However, the 32-year-old goalkeeper did not reveal the name of the club yet.
Kaskisuo revealed earlier this fall that he is primarily looking for a new address in Europe. The Jokerit product has been without a team this season.
– It may be that North America is now behind me. Especially after last season’s ECHL trials. I want to get back to playing. However, my primary goal is to get to Europe, Kaskisuo said earlier this fall to Ilta-Sanomat.
Kaskisuo has played ten seasons in North America during his career. He has two NHL games and over 100 AHL games under his belt. In recent seasons, he has been stopping pucks in the ECHL.
Kaskisuo played two seasons in Sweden between his years in North America. He represented Leksands IF during the 2021-23 seasons.
