Supplier: A big Finnish trade could soon hit the NHL!
The name of the Finnish goalie for the Boston Bruins, Joonas Korpisalo, has risen to the top of the hottest trade rumors in the NHL.
RG site reporter James Murphy reports that several trade scenarios are swirling around the Bruins. Last weekend, Murphy revealed that the player acquired from the Colorado Avalanche to the Bruins at the trade deadline, Casey Mittelstadt, would be available again.
Now, rumors have also surfaced regarding Korpisalo and Czech center Pavel Zacha.
– The Bruins are currently surrounded by trade rumors. At least the names of Korpisalo and Zacha have come up, Murphy says.
Korpisalo moved to the Bruins from the Ottawa Senators last season. The Finn shares the responsibility in goal with star goalie Jeremy Swayman.
Last season, Korpisalo played 27 games in the NHL with a save percentage of 89.3. The product of Ässät earns a salary of four million dollars until the summer of 2028.
