The St. Louis Blues have signed a two-year contract with Swiss forward Pius Suter. The contract is worth a total of 8.25 million dollars, guaranteeing Suter an average of 4.125 million dollars per season.

Suter, 29, played the last two seasons with the Vancouver Canucks. He set a career-high in points in the NHL last season, recording 25+21=46 in 81 games.

Suter has played five seasons in the NHL, totaling 364 regular-season games (82+80=162) and 13 playoff games (2+1). He has represented the Detroit Red Wings for two seasons and the Chicago Blackhawks for one season.
