SS: Jukurit captain Jesper Piitulainen moves to another Liiga team

The Mikkelin Jukurit will face a significant loss for the next season. The team’s captain and club legend Jesper Piitulainen, 34, will move to KalPa for the upcoming season. The news was reported by Savon Sanomat.
Piitulainen has represented Jukurit for the past ten seasons. He has worn the captain’s C on his chest in three different seasons.
This season, Piitulainen has performed effectively, recording 15 points from 27 games with 5 goals and 10 assists.
In his previous Liiga career, Piitulainen has also represented SaiPa and Lukko in addition to Jukurit.
