Sport caught the Swedish defender – “Versatile player”
Vaasan Sport announced a new extension on Wednesday.
The league club reports that it has signed a one-year extension with Swedish defender Theodor Johnsson, 22.
– Theo and I were eager to continue the contract because he is a versatile player on the field and a very well-liked guy in the locker room. Theo is only 22 years old and is progressing in his career, ready to develop every day.
– We will get a good piece for our defense from Theo for the upcoming season, sports director Ari-Pekka Pajuluoma explains the background of the extension in the club’s announcement.
The 186-centimeter Johnsson, who is playing his fourth season with Sport, has played 173 games in the league with stats of 12+25=37. In the current season, the defender has scored 3+6=9 points in 45 games.
