Swedish forward Kalle Östman is moving to the Liiga next season. Expressen reports that Östman’s new address is Vaasan Sport.
According to Expressen, there has been great interest in Östman both in Sweden and Finland. Östman chose to make the move outside his home country for the first time.
Östman, 31, has represented Leksand in the SHL for the past four seasons. Last season, he recorded 11 points in 41 games with 6 goals and 5 assists.
Östman has also previously played for Malmö Redhawks and Djurgården in the SHL. He has played a total of 330 regular season games in the league (60+75=135). In his best season, Östman scored 30 points.
