Lukko’s Canadian forward Felix Robert started his career in Finland under unfortunate circumstances.

Robert was injured last Friday in the Pitsiturnaus match against HPK. The forward could not finish the game, and he was also not seen in the encounter between Lukko and TPS.

However, a longer sick leave for the high-profile acquisition is not expected.

– It was a little bump, but it’s nothing serious, Lukko’s team manager Mika Kuosmanen says in an interview with  Satakunnan Kansan.

Robert is expected to be involved in Lukko’s ice practice as early as Wednesday.

Robert moved to Rauma this season from the SHL team Växjö Lakers. Last season, the 27-year-old Canadian forward scored 24 points with 16 goals and 8 assists in 52 games.
