SHL club assembles a stunning star ensemble – 3500 games worth of NHL experience
Brynäs, playing in SHL, is assembling a really notable team for the upcoming season. The club recently signed Canadian forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan, 26, who has nearly 200 NHL games under his belt.
The former second-round draft pick is by no means the most prominent player on his team. This season, Brynäs will also feature former NHL star forwards Nicklas Bäckström and Jakob Silfverberg.
In addition to these familiar names from the NHL, the team will also include Kieffer Bellows, Oskar Lindholm, Johan Larsson, and Robert Hägg.
Overall, Brynäs’ roster boasts a total of 3499 games of NHL experience.
The most accomplished individual player is Stanley Cup winner Bäckström, who played 1105 regular season games with the Washington Capitals over 18 seasons, recording 271+762=1033 points.
Representing Brynäs, which finished sixth in the regular season last year and was eliminated in the quarter-finals, is Finnish defender Axel Rindell.
