Sebastian Aholle bad news – star striker injured: “Doesn’t look good”
Sebastian Aho starring Carolina Hurricanes’ bad injury crisis continues.
The 6-2 home victory against the New York Islanders on Friday night was overshadowed by the injury of star forward Seth Jarvis, who had been playing a brilliant early season. Jarvis, who blocked a shot from Kyle Palmieri, injured his ankle and left the game early.
According to Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind’Amour, Jarvis’s situation “doesn’t look good,” so the Canadian star may face a longer break in the worst-case scenario. Aho’s long-time partner at center is the Hurricanes’ top scorer and goal-scorer of the early season with 11 points (7+4) in 10 games.
The Hurricanes were already struggling with quite a few injuries. Missing are goaltender Pjotr Kochetkov, star defensemen K’Andre Miller, Jaccob Slavin, and Shayne Gostisbehere, as well as forwards Eric Robinson and William Carrier.
The team will know more tomorrow.
