San Jose Sharks: Wayne Thomas has died

Wayne Thomas, 77, who had a long career as a goaltender, coach, and team executive in the NHL, has died. This was reported by his former NHL team, the San Jose Sharks.
The Sharks announced that Thomas died of cancer.
Thomas played in the NHL for the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, and New York Rangers from 1972 to 1981.
After his playing career, the Canadian worked as an assistant and goaltending coach. In the final years of his career, he worked in the Sharks’ front office as vice president and assistant GM.
Sharks mourn the passing of long-time executive, goaltending coach and eight-year NHL veteran Wayne Thomas.
