Samuel Helenius: new NHL contract in hand!

The Los Angeles Kings have signed a two-year contract extension with Finnish forward Samuel Helenius. The contract is worth $875,000 per season.
Helenius, 23, is the Kings’ 2nd round pick (#59) from 2021. He moved from JYP to North America after the 2021-22 season.
Helenius made his NHL debut last season. He played a total of 50 regular-season games with the Kings, scoring 4+3 points, and six playoff games with 0+1 points. This season, Helenius has played only three games in the NHL.
In the AHL, Helenius has played 162 games with a total of 13+27=40 points.
