Roope Hintz of the Dallas Stars will miss at least the first two playoff games, says head coach Glen Gulutzan. In addition, Hintz’s entire rest of the season is at risk.

– We don’t know when he will return, if he returns. It remains to be seen, Gulutzan says.

Hintz has been sidelined for over a month due to a lower body injury. He was injured in a game against the Colorado Avalanche.

Also, Dallas’s Finnish defenseman Miro Heiskanen is currently injured. Gulutzan did not have more detailed information about his situation yet.

– We are not yet sure about Miro. I haven’t received an update today. We will probably know more in the coming days, Gulutzan stated.

Heiskanen was injured last week against the Minnesota Wild and is suffering from a lower body injury.

Dallas will face Minnesota in the first round of the playoffs.
