Relieving information from Antti Pennanen about the health situation of the Lions
ZÜRICH. The Lions crushed Great Britain in the late-night match of the World Championships on Friday with a score of 4-0. The game was quite a formality as Finland dominated the puck for most of the playing time, and the Brits hardly crossed the red line with the puck.
– I have to thank the team. They were giving their all the whole time and didn’t give the opponent any chances. It’s a mental thing that at no point was there a loose phase, even though we controlled the game a lot, head coach Antti Pennanen praised his team’s performance.
In addition to the important points, there was something else good about the match. At the end of the game, the Lions’ Pennanen stated that this time no Finnish players were injured.
Earlier in the tournament, Teuvo Teräväinen, Urho Vaakanainen, and Eemil Erholtz have been injured.
Pennanen also updated the situation of the sidelined Vaakanainen.
