Oliver Kapanen: At the top of the NHL standings!

Montreal Canadiens’ Oliver Kapanen succeeded in scoring as the team defeated the Winnipeg Jets in a shootout with a score of 3-2.
Kapanen equalized the game in the second period at 2-2. Ivan Demidov made a strong setup and passed from the corner to Kapanen, who was alone in front of the net and was able to fire the puck into the goal.
The goal was Kapanen’s eighth of the season. He also rose to the top of the NHL rookie scoring leaderboard alongside Matthew Schaefer. Kapanen has recorded 14 points with 8 goals and 6 assists in 26 games this season.
