NHL superstar who refused Jarmo Kekäläinen’s transfer: wants to go to these two teams
The super trade that had been circulating in rumors all Thursday for the Buffalo Sabres fell through at the last moment.
Sabres’ GM Jarmo Kekäläinen had negotiated a deal in which the team would have acquired St. Louis Blues star defenseman Colton Parayko. However, the trade fell apart when the Canadian defenseman exercised a clause in his contract and refused to move to Buffalo.
According to NHL reporter Kevin Weekes, Parayko is still willing to accept a trade – but only to very specific destinations.
According to Weekes, the defenseman has named two possible teams from the Western Conference: the Anaheim Ducks and the Los Angeles Kings. Both teams are in a tight battle for playoff spots in the West.
The NHL trade deadline expires on Friday at 10 PM Finnish time.
