The Edmonton Oilers have called up forward Roby Järventie from AHL team Bakersfield Condors on an emergency basis. At the same time, Leon Draisaitl has been placed on the long-term injured reserve list.

Järventie, 21, has played 52 AHL games this season, recording 17 goals and 19 assists for a total of 36 points. He made his NHL debut a couple of years ago with the Ottawa Senators, but he has not yet played in Edmonton.

The Oilers will face the Florida Panthers tomorrow night, and it is currently unknown if Järventie will be in the lineup right away.
