The Dallas Stars strengthen their offense as 24-year-old Finnish forward Arttu Hyry has been called up from the AHL’s Texas Stars to the NHL team.

Hyry has played 27 games for the Texas Stars this season, scoring 20 points (9+11). In his last game, he scored twice against the Chicago Wolves.

Hyry got the opportunity in the NHL due to first center Roope Hintz being injured. Hintz will be sidelined for several weeks due to a lower body injury.

The Stars have been in strong form lately, winning ten games in a row before their last 4–5 loss to Colorado.
