Negotiations underway – Strong NHL rumor about Rasmus Ristolainen
Philadelphia Flyers’ Finnish defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen is once again in the NHL trade rumors. His team change is considered a likely possibility within NHL circles.
The situation with the Flyers was reported by journalist David Pagnotta on the program The Sheet, who stated that the team is currently in discussions regarding Ristolainen with several NHL teams.
Also, Elliotte Friedman, an insider reporter for Sportsnet, brought up the topic on the 32 Thoughts podcast. Friedman mentioned considering the possibility that Ristolainen could end up with the Montreal Canadiens.
Ristolainen played 44 regular season games last season in a Philadelphia jersey and recorded points of 1+13.
The defender from Turku has one season left on his current contract. Its annual salary is 5.1 million dollars.
