MTV: A raw find from Jere Karalahti’s freezer

MTV news reports that the police have found drugs in the freezer of Jere Karalahti, 50.
The former top hockey player has been in custody since the beginning of October on probable grounds suspected of a serious drug offense. The alleged crime occurred between June 1 and September 29, 2025, in Helsinki.
According to MTV, the discovery made by the Helsinki police is not at the center of the criminal suspicion concerning Karalahti.
Several individuals are still in custody in the drug crime case. In total, there are over a dozen suspects, and it involves more than one type of drug.
The indictment against Karalahti must be filed by January 15, 2026. Karalahti denies having committed a drug offense.
