More difficulties for Florida: Finnish forward injured
The injury-plagued Florida Panthers suffered another setback last night. Finnish forward Eetu Luostarinen‘s game against the Minnesota Wild ended prematurely.
Luostarinen took a puck to the leg in the third period and went to the bench in pain. He headed straight to the locker room.
Florida’s head coach Paul Maurice stated after the game that more information about the nature of the injury will be available on Sunday.
The Panthers’ offensive lineup is already under pressure, as Aleksander Barkov and Brad Marchand have been sidelined for an extended period due to injuries.
Luostarinen has recorded 2+0 points in five games so far this season.
Florida had to leave the rink without any points, as Minnesota took the game with a score of 4–1.
