Miro Heiskanen and Mikko Rantanen were once again the heroes of the Dallas Stars in last night’s game round. They led Dallas to a 3-2 shootout victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins.

At the end of the third period, Dallas was trailing 1-2. With less than two minutes left in the game, Heiskanen’s shot from the blue line went in, triggering quite a storm of cheers in Dallas’ home arena.

The only successful shooter in the shootout was Rantanen. He shot the puck sharply in from the glove side.

Heiskanen is now on a three-game goal streak. Rantanen’s point streak, on the other hand, is six games long, and Roope Hintz has a three-game streak.

This season, Heiskanen has recorded 6+20=26 points in 30 games, Rantanen has 13+26=39 points in 29 games, and Hintz has 8+17=25 points in 25 games.

As a team, Dallas has also been performing excellently. The team is now on a ten-game point streak.

You can admire Heiskanen’s and Rantanen’s goals from last night below.
