Finnish forward Max Westergård continues his season at a new address in Sweden.
According to Aftonbladet, Frölunda HC is loaning the 18-year-old Westergård to the HockeyAllsvenskan team Björklöven for the remainder of the season.
Westergård is expected to make his debut in a Björklöven jersey as early as Wednesday. Frölunda can recall their forward during the loan deal.
The young forward has played 15 games this season with Frölunda’s SHL team without scoring points. In the U20 team, he has recorded 4 goals and 17 assists in 12 games.
Westergård was also seen in the Finland jersey at the under-20 World Championship, where he totaled one goal and three assists in seven games.
