Magazine: Ville Peltonen on his way to a real top position!
The Swiss NL league club SC Bern is currently exploring its options for the head coach for the next season. Ville Peltonen has emerged strongly as a potential solution.
The Swiss newspaper Berner Zeitung reported earlier this month that Peltonen is among the names being considered at the club to succeed Danish coach Heinz Ehlers. According to the latest information, the interest has not remained at the level of mere speculation.
Journalist Klaus Zaugg reports that there has been a phone conversation between Peltonen and the Bern club, during which the details of a possible collaboration have been discussed thoroughly.
Peltonen would not be a new face in Bern, as he served as the club’s assistant coach from 2016 to 2018. He is currently working as the head coach of Genève-Servette HC in the Swiss top league.
