Jukurit has made a two-year contract with Swedish forward Linus Sjödin. The contract runs until spring 2028.

Sjödin, 23, moves to Jukurit from Rögle BK, where he has played throughout his career. In the past SHL season, Sjödin recorded 3+4 points in 33 regular season games and 0+2 points in 17 playoff games. Rögle finished the season with SHL silver.

Sjödin has played over 300 combined regular season and playoff games with Rögle. He won the CHL championship with the club in 2022.

– Linus is a modern forward who can play versatilely in different situations. He moves well, works hard in both directions, and brings energy to the team. We believe he has great potential to take the next steps in his career in our environment, Jukurit’s sports director Mikko Hakkarainen commented in the club’s press release.
