Edmonton Oilers defeated the Nashville Predators in last night’s NHL game with a score of 3-1. However, the victory was overshadowed by an unfortunate setback, namely the team’s superstar Leon Draisaitl was injured.

Draisaitl was targeted by a hit from Ozzy Wiesblatt in front of the Nashville bench during the first period. Draisaitl injured himself as a result of the hit and ultimately had to leave the game. He managed to play just over three minutes in the match and scored a goal before his injury.

More information about Draisaitl’s situation will be available later.

This season, Draisaitl has amassed 97 points in 65 games with a scoring line of 35+62, placing him fourth in the NHL scoring race.
