Sampo Ranta, representing Örebro in the Swedish SHL, was in great form during his team’s 5-1 away victory against HV71.

The 25-year-old winger, known from the Lions, was responsible for two of the visitors’ goals, with the latter being a real treat for hockey fans. Ranta skillfully maneuvered the puck past the home team’s Finnish goalie Lassi Lehtinen with an impressive lacrosse move. The assist on the goal was provided by Petro Seppälä.

Having moved from MoDo to Örebro this season, the 189-centimeter tall Ranta, who represented the Lions in the EHT for the past two seasons, has played seven SHL games this season with a score of 2+1=3. Ranta is now in his third season in the SHL.
