Latvian coaching: The Lions are the biggest favorite to win the championship!
ZÜRICH. Latvia was completely crushed by the Lions in the World Championships. The well-performing Latvia collapsed entirely and lost by a score of 1-7.
After the match, Latvia’s assistant coach and Lions legend Petteri Nummelin shared his unvarnished thoughts on the game.
– Small mistakes. The opponent capitalizes on them. Finland is currently so good. They play versatile and entertaining hockey. You can only tip your hat, Nummelin praises.
Nummelin couldn’t analyze more precisely what caused Latvia’s defeat today.
– What was the reason? Probably that the other team was so much better. There was nothing else to it.
Nummelin has a clear view of how the tournament will go.
– Based on what I’ve seen of these games, is there anyone else here who can win besides Finland?
