After the match, Latvia’s assistant coach and Lions legend Petteri Nummelin shared his unvarnished thoughts on the game.
– Small mistakes. The opponent capitalizes on them. Finland is currently so good. They play versatile and entertaining hockey. You can only tip your hat, Nummelin praises.
Nummelin couldn’t analyze more precisely what caused Latvia’s defeat today.
