Konsta Helenius returned to the farm with a bang – high power!

Buffalo Sabres’ Finnish prospect Konsta Helenius, 19, was called up to the NHL in January, where he has played nine games so far with a score of 1+3.
As the NHL’s Olympic break began, Buffalo sent Helenius to the AHL with the Rochester Americans. Helenius returned to the team’s roster with a bang, scoring 1+3 in his first two games.
First, Helenius recorded two assists as Rochester defeated the Springfield Thunderbirds 4-0. In the very next game, Helenius scored 1+1 as Rochester took down the Utica Comets 5-1.
Throughout the season, Helenius has played 36 games in the minors with a total of 10+24=34 points.
