Edmonton Oilers’ Finnish forward Kasperi Kapanen has received unfortunate news.

The team’s head coach Kris Knoblauch reports that Kapanen has suffered yet another injury. According to Knoblauch, it is a minor issue that will keep Kapanen out of Edmonton’s first two games after the Olympic break.

Kapanen has missed many games this season due to injuries. He has played only 19 games with a total of 5+7=12 points. Knoblauch stated that Kapanen’s recent injury is not related to previous injuries this season.

Edmonton also received good news, namely that Adam Henrique is returning to the lineup. He has been out since the beginning of January.
