KalPa has reported on the team’s injury situation.
The positive news is that the team’s star player and captain Jaakko Rissanen will not be sidelined for long. According to KalPa’s assessment, Rissanen will return to action in the coming days.
Rissanen was injured a week ago in the HPK match and has missed two Liiga games and one CHL game since then. Rissanen is also not in the lineup today, Thursday, against Sport.
Rissanen has accumulated 24 points in 21 games this season with a score of 10+14=24. He is KalPa’s second-best scorer and eighth in the entire Liiga points ranking.
KalPa’s defender Lasse Lappalainen has been sidelined since the team’s last match, but according to the assessment, he will also return to action in the coming days. Defender August Tornberg, who has missed the last two matches, will return in 1-2 weeks, while Ville Ruotsalainen, who has been out for the entire early season, is expected to be fit around the turn of the year.
