KalPa’s last season ended in the quarter-finals. Despite a relatively early summer break, the club managed to achieve an impressive financial result.

KalPa made a profit of 307,900 euros in the 2025–26 season. The result was down compared to the championship season, when KalPa’s result was 374,193 euros in the positive.

– We are satisfied with the result. There are not too many clubs in this industry that systematically make profitable business. This is already the fifth consecutive season that we have managed to keep the result in the positive, KalPa Hockey Oy’s CEO Toni Saksman states on the club’s website.

– We have found a way to manage risks so that we can succeed financially regardless of the sporting result. A positive result strengthens our balance sheet and gives us investment capacity.

In the past season, KalPa’s turnover was a record 12.2 million euros. This was an increase of over 730,000 euros compared to the previous season.

A strong financial performance gives KalPa a good foundation for the league’s super season.

– We are prepared for the upcoming season to be financially challenging, and therefore it is important that the balance sheet and cash flow are in order. A strong financial backing allows us to invest in the next season and thereby support sporting success, Saksman says.
