Juuso Pärssinen’s next team has been revealed – fans are buzzing on social media
On Tuesday evening, the New York Rangers placed forward Juuso Pärssinen on waivers. Now the Finnish player’s next destination is clear.
No NHL team decided to claim Pärssinen off waivers, even though he could have been acquired for free. Therefore, Pärssinen will continue his season with the Rangers’ AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack.
In Pärssinen’s place, Connor Mackey was called up to the NHL roster. Rangers fans were not pleased with this roster change and vented their frustrations on X about the Rangers’ decision.
– Good for Pärssinen. Hopefully, he gets to play more often down there, one fan writes.
– Instead of tweeting stuff like this, why don’t you just come to my house and smash my head in with a shotgun? one person dramatically overreacts.
– I DISDAIN this team.
Unfortunately, Rangers head coach Mike Sullivan was not among the Finnish forward’s fans. Pärssinen received limited ice time and played only 14 NHL games this season, with minimal ice time, recording stats of 2+1.
