The Swiss top league team HC Ambri-Piotta announces that they have hired Jussi Tapola, 51, as their head coach for the remainder of the season.
Tapola replaces Eric Landry in the role. His assistant coach will be Pasi Puistola.
Tapola previously coached SC Bern earlier this season, but his tenure ended in October with his dismissal.
Ambri-Piotta has changed head coaches several times during the current season. The club’s long-time head coach Luca Cereda left his position last October.
Ambri-Piotta is currently second to last in the Swiss league standings.
