Jukurit guard out of Liiga – here is the new team

The Canadian goalkeeper Evan Buitenhuis, 32, is moving to Slovakia. He has signed a contract with HC Banska Bystrica for the upcoming season.
Buitenhuis represented Jukurit starting from February 2025. He played 44 games for the team this season with a save percentage of 90.0.
In the previous season, Buitenhuis moved from HC Innsbruck to Jukurit. At that time, he managed to play nine regular-season games in Mikkeli with a save percentage of 90.1 and five playout games with a save percentage of 90.0.
Earlier in his career, Buitenhuis has played in the ECHL, among other leagues.
