Jokerit: A familiar forward from the league caught!
The Mestis club Jokerit announces that it has strengthened its offense with Miro Nalli. The 26-year-old Ilves product arrives at the Helsinki club on a one-month tryout contract.
During his career, Nalli has represented Ilves and Vaasan Sport in the Liiga. In total, the forward has played 206 games in the Liiga over five seasons, with stats of 15+31=46.
Last season, Nalli played in the Mestis for RoKi, appearing in 13 games with stats of 1+2, and for IPK in 32 games with stats of 6+8=14. This season, the forward has been without a team.
– Miro brings the much-needed competitive situation to the team’s routine and depth to the offense. We are very pleased to have a player with his level of Liiga experience join the group. Miro has not played yet this season, so the one-month trial period is a good opportunity for us to see where we stand and in what direction we can take the collaboration, says Jokerit’s sports director Olli-Pekka Yrjänheikki in the announcement.
– Miro comes to us with a clear goal of developing himself as a player. He has a strong motivation to show that he can return to Liiga level, and that is exactly the kind of attitude we want to see at Jokerit.
Nalli will join Jokerit on Wednesday and will be available for the upcoming weekend’s matches.
