Jesse Puljujärvi’s missing medal causes speculation: “Too much celebrating?”
Jesse Puljujärvi‘s missing World Championship gold medal also came up in Switzerland, at the club he represents, Genève-Servette.
The team posted three pictures on Instagram of Puljujärvi. In each picture, an arrow points to the gold medal still hanging around Puljujärvi’s neck. Question marks have also been added around it.

– Too much partying or did someone have bad intentions? Jesse lost his medal. We need to find it! reads the update from Servette.
Puljujärvi previously stated that his gold medal was stolen last week at a karaoke bar in downtown Helsinki.
Puljujärvi has just completed his first season with Servette. Last season, he recorded 52 regular season games with points of 19+33=52 and 12 playoff games with stats of 6+3. Puljujärvi will continue with the club next season as well.
Puljujärvi scored 4+5 points in ten games at the recently concluded World Championships.
