Buffalo Sabres’ Finnish GM Jarmo Kekäläinen is gearing up for a big player acquisition in the NHL.
TSN reporter Darren Dreger reports on X that Buffalo and the St. Louis Blues are currently negotiating a trade involving Blues’ top center Robert Thomas.
– Keep an eye on the Buffalo Sabres. According to sources, the negotiations regarding Robert Thomas between Buffalo and St. Louis are heating up, Dreger reports.
Thomas, 26, has recorded 35 points this season in 43 games with 12 goals and 23 assists. In the last two seasons, he has surpassed the 80-point milestone.
Thomas has represented St. Louis throughout his entire NHL career. In his very first NHL season, he won the Stanley Cup with the team in 2019.
